I'm not digging the new ASP web page. I can't find the tour schedule or the link to the contest site. It seems like they tried to make it like FB or a Twitter feed and I'm not into those sites. I guess l'll have to get used to it.

I feel completely different. This new site is much better. You don't even have to worry about finding the contest page because it's right there on the front page. On top of that, all the events are going to be streamed through youtube, so you can always quickly access streams on pretty much any device from their youtube channel. So far working much better on my phone and Google TV than the flash videos of previous years.

i watched a little bit of the women. i do enjoy watching them. every year it gets better watching them. there are definitely a few that still have that stiff kind of style where they dont completely finish their turns, but it seems to get less and less.

and whats up with the quiksilver event site. i go on there to access the live feed last night and it says its off. i go on surfline to see whats happening over there and they have a link to the live feed. thats pretty bad when the hosting company cant even get it right.

 

2 pros I miss are dean dingo Morrison and bobby Martinez,and andy ofcourse.right now u have the aussies,and slater,and u could throw jjf in the mix.other than them nobody else is winning anything.

its not how good u can surf,but how u can compete.when the lulls in certain heats kick in and theres 2 good waves the whole heat,u need to know how to hold priority and sell the others into the crappy waves.i see big disappointments coming this contest

 

The schedule is complete now, but wasn't about a week ago when I checked it.
The Gold Coast set up/link wasn't working like it is now, pre-contest waiting period.

Yeah, I still think the new asp page sucks. I can't figure out what is actually going on right now with the contest and the layout blows. I can't click anything related to the contest to verify.

 

both events are on standby, with the next call being made in about 90 minutes. There is a big banner across the top of the page with updates and status of the current events. If you click on the event, it takes you to that events main page where you can see results, watch the heat analyzer, etc.
