There is a paddle out planned for a hardcore local who just passed. It should be firing. Hopefully no one gets washed into the jetty. If so, he will be laughing.

most likely will be a bump at least, paddled out today and for some strange reason i was toasty. Got a few waist/stomach high tide pulses with no one around for miles. Ready for spring break and some warm obx waves

    weather radio

i use an old fashioned box which said low forming off ecoast then moving
southeast and intensifying into ocean storm…march is one of the months
when this actually can happen so cross your fingers or raise a banner or…idk.

It is finally on down here. Just got some head high peaks at Juno Pier and it should get better over the next few days. Nothing epic, but bery bery fun sets, and pretty consistent with light breezes. Anyone seen the footage of the van full of kids getting rescued in the impact zone in Daytona after Mom snapped and drove them into the ocean?

Great surf yesterday morning, cold and nasty but only a handful out down here in Jacksonville. Friday and Saturday looking promising if that there wind decides to cooperate. I was afraid to comment earlier in the week. Hate to get all hyped and then the damn swell dies.

I think it was wayne the insane wearing a wig & a dress at the wheel of that death van, aka his hitman moniker 'mysavior,' posing (again) as hayzeus effing keerist & finding a new way to try to torment the civilized world.
