Wasn't really happening out by me on the island. Drifty and messy this AM.. some big bombs came through but the guys who actually made it out were never in position. Just sat and watched for 3 hours with my suit half on from the walk... hope tomorrow works out better.

whoa. I guess my fin slicing my arm wasn't that bad after all. There was a lot of power today around here for 5-6 foot waves. Our misfortunes could have been worse. Thanks...perspective.

I scored earlier when it was about 4-6" at the sandbridge pier around ten o'clock got 2 waves in 2 hours cause they were really fast.... One heck of a paddle cause the pier collects all the sand and it breaks infront of the pier.

Reading through this thread.....Do you guys have any fun surfing? Looks like work. Waves were better today than yesterday, even though the wind got on it. Had a great session before dark as the wind died down..water was warm, air temp got chilly maybe 65.To whoever was concerned if you know who made it in.....he did!

Looks good, but I can't get over the board shorts and rash guard if that's a recent shot. We won't see that around here until about June or so. I was surprised to see couple guys without hoods today. Not sure why. Water off VB is still below 40.

Got down to AI at 630am yesterday. Waves looked great but heavy with a lot of water moving around. Was the only one there so I went into town to try and find company. Looked disorganized and dumpy there so went back to AI and watched a few guys try to paddle out for about 45 minutes before they finally made the line up. I decided to give it a go around 11:30 at AI. Started paddling out at the end of the dune on the State side, almost made it to the line up before taking a decent set on the head, got worked, drifted in around B loop of the campground. Thought about giving it another go but decided against it. I went into town and was about to give it a go there when I saw two guys try to paddle out around 20th st. They never made it either and ended up somewhere around 16/15th st before they gave up so I decided to call it a day and let the ocean win. Bit of a frustrating day but still felt good getting wet. I think I'm getting old though...

I tried OC yesterday around one flipping HUGE I watched the guys out there for like 45 minutes I saw one person catch a wave but he didn't even set a line just too huge so I went to assateague waves were still tough I got worked pretty good and managed to snap a fin off against my ribs these older guys were all laughing at me, I got out of the water and went back to OC and tried it on my other board, waves mellowed out but were still hard fast and hollow and steep as hell didn't really cath anything there

Hit the pier at dawn, and caught three ok head high waves and one good overhead left. After each it was such a pain to get back out to the line up I was exhausted after two hours. Called it quits around nine am, and headed down to first street. It was cleaner there, as the wind had backed off, but I was too tired and cold to give it another go. Spent the rest of the day watching the cams and playing with the baby so the wife could spend time with her friend from out of town. was much better in the late morning, but I'm happy I got a cuple good ones either way...

Ocean City two sessions. morning was huge afternoon was still perfect but smaller and dropping. I would honestly say this was the best surf in a few years for me as far as conditions and me getting waves. Got a few legit barrels for the first time.

    Cheers to the noodle arms

Had some solid size in the early morning and a heck of a current for a bit. The bar I was surfing did a little better when the tide came in and got a bit more water on it. Pulled a 4.5 hour session, ate doo doo on the first few waves but ended up getting in a groove and snagged a few gems. Had all the intensions in the world to get out for a second session but grubbed out a little to hard and passed out on the couch. Was hoping this morning would of had a bit more size but still managed to find a few fun ones. Anyone else get any leftovers today?
