Picture 36/40 should get a few people hyped up on this forum. Nice article. We surfed from Wednesday last week through Sunday. Still stoked.

 

Nothing from Long Island and up.. I was expecting at least one shot from out east or something from Main.. That kid was right...NJ gets all the attention!! haha

It was pumping in fla, NC, NEast......swell completely missed South Carolina. Knee to thigh log peelers was all we got ...lame

I would prefer not seeing my local spots featured everywhere. I see more and more out of town guys show up when it gets good

 

I know man, we have a reporting site down here that blew up my spot during a couple of swells last year. It hasn't been the same since. I think I found a new spot this weekend though, so I'm psyched. I'm also not telling anyone

 

No kidding. There were paddle battles and snakes everywhere at the washout hoping for the swell that didn't come. Two bros almost took it to the beach. It was almost low tide so I laughed and left.

 

Haha, and that is why I surf IOP.
Friday morn was supposed to be 4-5ft, which pissed me off since I had to work. However, looking at the cams, all I saw was waist at best.

nj has been getting a lot of publicity lately.theres even photos of Belmar,and it looks good!!people are gonna think it was a 52 fakeout trying to invite everyone to Belmar knowing that they will never go.every pic they post I can tell exactly where it is with the landscapes.theres always empty peaks around,certain days just get more crowded with kids having off school or no work.usually the guys surfing at 10 am on a Friday are pros or people on unemployment.i used to be one of those people,not the pro thing but unemployment lol.its not that cool tho,u don't even get enough money to put gas in the car to drive to the beach.il go with a half a quarter tank and stop at the 1st closest beach and itll be crap but I make it work

 

that was a nice tube,probably is the best jersey gopro tube footage,but im sure theres some gems out there waiting to be revealed

 

Yea I agree, all I was getting at was that there wasn't anything at all. There are certain places that are known and I would of figured that something would have found its way into the article, but nope!

Anyone score today? 3 hour sesh for this guy in clean peelers. 18 degrees out and water was mid 30s. So stoked though. The frothing kept me warm. Stepped out of the liquid a better surfer.
