    has anyone ever riden the firewire taj pro model?

    well.....my friend has a 5'11 taj and says he loves it. he said the most he likes about it is how it drives thru turns and its easier to menuever. he said that its the best board he ever had

    i actually just bought a 6'0 taj and didnt get a chance to use it yet, just wanted to know if anyone had any comments about it....

    i also heard that thin boards arent good for nj surf but i thought that that didnt make sense at all so i ignored it...

    that's right man, ignore the haters. every time I turn around someone is tying to tell me east coast surf is so differnt than everywhere else. I tell you what, I lived in Hawaii for seven years, and as far as I can tell the laws of physics work the same there as they do here. Go treat yourself to a new firewire and go shred. All the clowns on shore will still be yelling at you how it dosn't work while you ripping and having fun.

    fantastic post - agree 100%

    As if "east coast surf" is all the same wave. A cobble stone point in RI is more like one in SoCal than a jersey beachbreak that might ride just like a blacks beach aframe. Its the wave that matters, not the time zone it happens to be in.
