What ever happened to that 'Sharkex' guy? Guess he bailed on SI after sales remained flat....

Oh Tedtalks. Once so promising, now just another stop on the pseudo-ntellectual infotainting lecture circuit. Ted is probably rolling over in his grave right now.

I bet this repels sharks very well. Lions, on the other hand will be swimming after you in your tasty zebra camo.

Almost bought one of these last year, suit and board. As for the ted source, lost faith in ted after they starting targeting real information instead of propaganda.

what this issue needs is controlled experiments. (ok - you in the dark suit; swim over there...), (now you - in
    the beetlejuice suit.....)....

I was thinking the same thing! I wouldn't want to gamble on it, but it probably wouldn't hurt. Maybe somebody will come up with white wetsuit paint.

I'd say that get-up would win you lots of friends out in the lineup at Newbreak. Goon cord optional.

Haha.... I'm more of a chasms kinda guy. =) But yeah, I can't imagine showing up anywhere on that stretch of coast with a jail wetsuit on.

If you have a strong pimp hand, golf is the sport.

    A. its funny that everybody is more worried bout lookin like a goon than not getting ate by a shark.

    B. Completely useless suit unless you're just tryin to look like a goon. From the distance the shark decides you are lunch it cant see much more than shadows.

I could've sworn that I read a recent similar story where some fellow (Australian, I believe) was promoting boards (and maybe wetsuits too) that resembled the orange/black/white stripes of a Clownfish. Might as well airbrush Nemo on the bottom of your board.

Until this stuff is proven, I'll stick with the usual fare.

Then again, Danny Kwock and his crew never got attacked with all that 80's polka dot stuff. Or go for that ultra cool Hyperflex Team Suit. Hmmmm..........

I agree , there trying to figure these creatures out but really, in the long run, if it wants you it can have you.
