Hey man, I didn't invent the NSA and their new directive, nor did I sign NDAA into law, don't look at me. I'm just writing down the facts. If someone 15 years ago told you that NDAA would exist and be pushed thru with an applause, and that the NSA has been operating massive data fusion centers, you'd call them crazy and get them committed. I say it now...and it's just another Monday. Scary place we live in man, complacence concerning it is even scarier. That being said....
Haha. I think he was eluding to another tin foil hat comment that I made a week or so ago... I got a chuckle out of that one.
There is difference between gang bangers that hurt/kill for money or other gang related sh!t and legit mentally ill people. One does it for personal gain and the other because the voice in their head made them (in the movies anyway). People that plea insanity don't go home. They go to a hospital with other crazy folk, which is where they belong.
this. from what I've seen, she isn't crazy. she might use that defense but so many people do now that it's really becoming a problem.
tin foil hats act like an antennae booster, makes the signals from the corpGOVmafia broadcast even worse........... you got to be inside a faraday cage to block the signals.
Zach - In America people have the right to be crazy as long as they are not a danger to themselves or others. Do you want to imprison every older adult who exhibits dementia?
Ummm....if Paris Hilton started doing meth, more porn and added a bunch of cheap tats, she would look like Jill Hansen.
I would like to say that we should aspire to the real-world impacts that the erBB is having, or at the very least, a mention in CNN. But the truth of the matter is that it's a shame that they have contributed to the demonization and encouragement of someone who is clearly mentally ill. Whether due to drug addiction or not, this type of behavior is beyond a person's control. You can hold them accountable for their actions, but it is absurd to judge them as cognizant individuals when there is a clear history of obvious mental illness. Many of you heap judgment and scorn upon people like her. The same judgement and scorn that you are so quick to withhold for service members who are acting out due to brain trauma, PTSD, and subsequently common substance abuse issues. People who cannot help themselves should be helped- especially in one of the richest societies in the world. We do our best for neither her nor service members, nevermind the exploding homeless population (which is predominately impoverished, or addicted, or mentally ill people, who are frequently service members). Situations like this reveal more about us than they do about any of the characters invlolved. Our society continues to fail it's most troubled citizens. Anyone here who has had a family member or friend with substance abuse issues, PTSD, or mental disability should recognize this. Everyone else should be less judgemental, appreciate their good fortune, and have more consideration for people who cannot help themselves- for whatever reason that may be. If your next child is born with with down syndrome, or suffers a brain injury snowboarding, or becomes addicted to heroin- you will soon see firsthand how our society fails you.
does hawaii have prisons? if so why was my flight hono/dallas half full of shackled (presumably) felons??
They do, they are so overcrowded they outsource to TX. Presumably with some sort of monetary benefit going to TX. Same thing happens with a lot of our trash, shipped to the West Coast.
It sounds like when you boil it all down.... she wanted her dad to buy her a car. everything else was just fluff. No matter what happens, her life as she knew it is over. she will either be in jail for 20 year or she will be in a mental ward and not have any real freedom..... and still will not have a car.. or the car she wanted.
