well if we're going to through the term "waterman" around i think it kind of pertains...speaking of which, i think i need to get serious about fly fishing waterways during flat spells as that seems to be an element i am missing from the requirements...

Im getting a sling soon, cheaper than a 500 dollar gun

 

So it looks like a Hawaiian sling > pole spear...and there's no way I have 500, so that's what it'll be.
