i was like the second guy out down at crystal. nicew glassy head high maybe even some bigger it was way better than what i thought it would be. but was way worth it.
I was out north of the north end pier on CB. It was hefty waist with a few chest to shoulder high sets. It was kinda rough and super drifty.
yeah no one was out cause wblive called thigh-waist all day until the afternoon report it looked like absolute **** early on, when it was supposedly "pumping head high glass"
Think what you want, don't be jealous just cause you missed out. I'm glad others are affirming the size, I was wondering what the hell was going on out there. I showed up with my longboard(after seeing a knee/thigh report ) and found chest high shorebreak barrels. After 10ish the outside started to break really fun and it was perfect 'till the wind picked up. Bet it was pretty fun at low tide though...
I think this is all a conspiracy everyones in on to convince me I missed good waves jig's up guys, give it up
it was definitely not pumping head high glass on sunday...come on people, particularly in the morning. if you live there you know what i'm talkin' about. tide was way on it early and shorebreak was not working well. i surfed north side of mercers later sunday and there were maybe a few shoulder sets at best, and certainly a bit drifty. it was definitely fun as hell, but lets not blow loads here. i too was a little surprised at how uncrowded it was when i paddled out, but that's the last thing i would ever complain about.
hey im deffinantly not complaining about the lack of crowd and if anybody was out from between 830 and 10 u know what im talking about maybe not head high glass but you know what im talking about
Yeah in you guys imaginary world let me guess huuuhh... it was head high perfect barrels today to... it was no head high glass i saw.
me and shrekis were PUMPING HEAD HIGH GLASS. you all missed it..you all missed it. and monday night on the north sida mercers was fun as hell
one thing i will never understand is why people want to hype up very specific spots that seem to be breaking better than other places and aren't as crowded...
I had a lot of fun today at c-street on my fish. Glassy, small, knee to thigh high sets, maybe you could barreled if you were like 6. Anyways, I stayed out till I couldn't see the water anymore. Fun little stuff.
mmt is jealous naked spearfisher and i rep oxford street and the OTHER side of the pier mmt can go back to the north end and the L shaped lot or whatever you kooks call it im just kidding theres nothing wrong with the north end all i was trying to say was that it was really good sunday and hardly anyone was out
well, according to an old thread on this very forum, you are a small, furry woodland creature, so most waves would be head high and above on you
I automatically divide my perception of the waves by 14. I was out their towin in behind a RC jetski on Sunday. I got so pitted, I even have my own wet suit that I stole from an aqua G.I. Joe. I'm jealous of ledzep though, those waves today would have been slotting double overhead barrels. But really, it looked like a fun longboard wave out there... (for a human)
I went out on the south end by the jetty @ 3:30 right when the tide switched, there were some shoulder or bigger sets coming in, it was crappy at mercers because of the howling wind out of the south, which the jetty blocks for future info
