Surfing with impact vest

    Has anyone surfed with an impact vest? Was looking for a lighter one if anyone has tried different kinds.

    I use a jock strap to help protect my jock.

    I use my head, and only surf waves DOH on sand.

    Seriously though, I don't f~ck around during Summer. This is how I protect myself from the Summer shred fest, and as you can see, flexibility isn't compromised. :

    You should get out more. I am with you, cause there is nothing but sand within 200 miles in either direction, but given a choice on ANY DOH day, the last place I would be was at a beach break (Puerto, Blacks etc Excluded).
    Not because I am being a touch guy, but because reefs and points are easier to surf in ANY condition than a beach break. I would almost NEVER go surf on sand once it got 8ft+ (west coast standards) which is completely unmanageable in 95% of beach breaks out there.
