Trying to spread the word... Fisher Heverly and Brett Barley are in the Finals of the Smith Grudge Match against the North East. Today is the last day to VOTE, and we are trailing behind. Voting ends at MIDNIGHT Tonight. So if you are from the south, or at least enjoy full rotations, please follow the link and vote Mid-Atlantic on slide #5 and vote if you haven't already done so. We'd appreciate your support. http://www.surfline.com/surf-news/smith-grudge-match-finals_110189/ Thanks!
Just advertising them how they are labeled on the feature... Also, most anyone I know considers NJ and up, the NorthEast.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mid-Atlantic_states It's an incredibly fragile topic. ....But you can always trust Wikipedia..
u talking about BB or HH? HH is from Langley VA and who fvckn cares what a bunch of lifestyle pros do? (where is the turd emoticon)
Well, good luck MidAtlantic, that NE barrel footage may have you guys beat. I have questioned the video submissions throughout all those contests. They were showing barrels in the NE, but not in Hawaii, MI, CA or anywhere. Crazy. I know there have been plenty of barrels in Delmarva this past year...

Or you can divide the 2,069 miles of Coastline by 3 (Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast), and you get an average of 689mi per region. Which would mean… (Southeast) Florida/Georgia - 680mi (Mid-Atlantic) SC-Delaware - 660mi (Northeast) NJ-Maine - 730mi Sure that gives the Northeast more coastline... but this gives you the best average, without dividing states up. ———— On another note, and back on subject… Thanks to those of you who've gone and voted for us, because the gap is slowly narrowing.
thanks man… I got nothing against Bal and Sam either, just trying to win. Stoked that there will for sure be an East Coast winner out of all the US regions.
What will you do for me if I vote for you southern cotton pickers? I mean, I have to live in New Jersey, and potentially face the wrath of angry Ocean City surfing professionals where ever I go. Jeez, I might never be able to go to Bay Head again. Shoot, I don't even know who youse guys are up against. I don't like New Jersey pros anyways except for Conor Willem. Sam Hammer scares me; the Kelley's are from PA; and I hate everything aboot North Jersey, so screw them dudes. Gesler works with that guy who yelled at me............. So, you give me $5.00, and I'll vote for you southerners. Screw it, I'll be a Judas, and vote for southerners. Sandblaster this is for you, too. Ok, just PM me, and I'll give you a location to mail that $5.00. God bless all you little southern children. Hey now, just wait a minute, how do we know this is the real Brett Barely? Ya'll could be a foolin' us yankees.
its funny how everyone tells their boys to vote for them.im a njersian, and I voted for brett.u cant even compare the clips, like how could bal and hammer win?they are great, but fsher and barley did it better.its like slater dropping into a 30 second closeout get blown out, then gabe medina comes up and does an air reverse and wins.that's the situation here
Barrels usually win over airs. I agree that their airs were better than Bal's, but Hammer's barrel takes it
Yeah man, that is an "epic" barrel by any standard. I think an air reverse is performed about once per second throughout the world at any given moment. They could have put up footage of 600 guys landing air reverses in Florida alone in the past few months and none of them would stand up to that Barrel.
