I have a 5'10 hollow wooden surfboard ( swallow tail ) that needs to be glassed. It has been built, sanded, and is ready to be glassed. I am not the handiest person and the patches of wood filler and saw dust show this, nonetheless this wooden Frankenstein is watertight. I think it'd be best to have a pro glass is. Can anybody recommend where I could go in NJ to have this guy glassed , with glass on twin fins, and a leash plug installed? I have the fins and leash plug as well. Willing to pay good money for good work!
Both of these guys do great work and specialize/excel in glassing...both in nj Brian Wynn Undertoe glassing Co.
Different stronger wood for the bottom that was easier to bend and bamboo fins. Like I said this is a true wooden Frankenstein! It will take a real skilled craftsman to glass this (aka not me )
