Im lookin into gettin a new board but tryin to decide whether i want to get a quad or just the traditional thruster setup. What are some major differences between the two?
well....first off in board shape your thruster is gonna be thinner n more narrow the quad will be a little thicker and wider ecspecially around your chest. thrusters are really fun in any time of surf a quad however will be perfect in surf under a foot over head and then the drops get a little slidy. turns are a lot easier on quads n throwing the tail is easier then on a thruster.
