    Bodyboard anywhere anytime

surfboards before 10am and after 5:30pm anywhere. Between 10am to 5:30pm there are designated surf beaches that change everyday.

Actual surf is a crap shoot.

Yea you may want to take a trip a little south to an island just south of there for better waves

Ask GRUVI - he will tell you all the spot... I'm from Belmar and only surf there (cause it's the best waves on the east coast- hands down) so I'm not sure about the surf there but know the island is better

Assateague Island/Chincoteague is the place to go. 20 mins from OC at most. Ocean City is okay but it's usually 10 inches deep, so if you take a dive you pretty much die.

Prepare to get ssssstinkeee large on waves, bro. Yah. Beach break, mofo, beeeatchbreak, har har har.
Blow off that lifeguard whistle noise crap about certain beaches for surfing. You're a greased up, lubed up 'roidal stud horse, an' you surf when you see that shiiiiite breakin' mang. So cool. So rad.

Might wanna check your math on the OC to Chincoteague trip.

Like the others said, bodyboard in OC, longboard at MD Assateague. Regarding the depth of OC, one storm to move some sand, and it can get a trough / sandbar. Just don't expect anything in August other than getting lucky for a tropical storm.

Don't believe they have even opened yet. On their FB page says they are still hiring and work is coming along on the bar.
