That is quite the beach cruiser setup you have there my dude. Well done. Got the kid seat on the back and all that.
I love this stuff. No one inland would see that forecast and go. But there's always something to ride.
Between the boardshorts and beach proximity, you're making me jealous .... Good on you for getting the most out of it, thanks for posting as always. Get one of those surf kitties out on a board!
Hey, in that star wars video, how old is your daughter that you have out on the SUP thing? 3? 4? My daughter is turning 3 next month and I think its about time I take her out like that. I stand her up on my long board and my wife and I hold her up while she rides in the white water. My wife is still sketched about me taking her out that far... Just curious how old she was when you shot that footage. She looked scared on that first one, but stoked the rest of the time.
whatever the shape or actual size, what matters is you still got a few. Anyway, there's an old guy (gotta be in his mid 60s) at my local spot that has a 2-wheel longboard buggy for his bike exactly like yours...only in his case there's always a bag of garbage (cans?) and a bunch of other crap piled on the board. He obviously doesn't have a job because I see him riding around town every day, all day, with longboard in tow...could be homeless. Other day, I was slowly driving through the neighborhood to the surf spot and he rides halfway across the intersection in front of me, stops and puts his hand out like, all of a sudden, he's a crossing guard warning me to slow down. One of my peeves is neighborhood speeders, so I found it ridiculous that this guy thought I was going too fast...and pretty stupid to park himself, his only source of transpo and precious longboard in the path of a slow, yet moving car.
