    Hi,

Thats the nature of the beast! The swellinfo forecasts follow the current weather model predictions, so you have to stay on top of the forecasts and understand that the local east coast storm systems are likely to change in the forecast predictions when you are several days out.

Rather than give vague uncertainties like many forecasters do, Swellinfo gives it like the models predict.

The west coast swells on the other hand are much more easily predicted several days out, as the swells often take many days after they are produced by storms to make it into the coast.

As of now, it looks like you will see a cleanup on Friday as the forecast calls for. And then northerly winds behind the front on Saturday making for chop.

Here's a copy and past from Monmouth County. The latest model runs are indicating an earlier offshore shift on Friday. Stay tuned!

    Friday:
Surf: Waist to chest high SSE short period wind swell.
Conditions: Sideshore/choppy in the morning with SSW winds 15-20kt. Clean conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting W 5-10 kt.
