3/2 with no boots and I was freezing. Caught a nice one and went to stand up and it felt like when you sit on your feet and try to get up and there is no feeling there.
Doesn't really cross mine. It would be SoCal then the PNW. It's not like I won't go to FL, I'm there at least once a year. But it doesn't rock my world. The people generally aren't smart and there's too many damn SUPs. Then again, there's this gaggle of Bettys at FP that are rocking their golden years like the Chicago Bulls dynasty of the 90s...
Jersey was straight up cold. Hands were stinging and got ice cream headaches after two duck dives in a row.
I used to get headaches every sesh even in warmer weather all the way through the fall and haven't got one since. Not even when charging arctic all winter. Weird. Adaptation is beautiful.
I've been in board shorts since April in the Jacksonville Florida area. I think I may have even been able to trunk it a few days in late March, but I am good in trunks at about 65 degrees if the air temp is warm enough. Do not miss the cold Jersey water, but the surf has been better there than down here lately. At least from what I've heard.
