Tuesday

Surf: Knee to thigh high ESE short period wind swell with occasional waist high sets.
Conditions: Clean in the morning with W winds 10-15kt. Fairly clean conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting SW 5-10 kt.

prob be some bigger sets early for top spots. I will say that it was bigger than models were predicting today, so those numbers might be a little on the low side. But the storm is dissipating quickly and the swell is going to die out pretty quick.

some decent ESE background energy for wed/thur.

 

I am planning on doing a dawn patrol somewhere in ocmd tomorrow...hopefully there will be something left...at least it hopefully will be clean...

 

it was head high and choppy in the morning, but the storm moved quicker than expected, so after the low passed, the winds went offshore at around 2 PM. it took a little to clean up and was perfect waist to chest plus. very fun waves today.........since the winds went offshore earlier, it knocked down the size a little, but there were defanitely some fun waves still when i left at a little after 9 PM tonight. real fun night session

tomorrow should be around waist high, prob some bigger sets, but very clean

that low was def stronger than models were calling, but it still looks like the NE energy will be dissipating fairly quickly.
