Connecticut surf?

We need more global warming. Then I would live 30 mins away from waves instead of 2 1/2 hours.

There are a number of spots in CT but the swell angle have to be pretty bent or you have to hit it after some severe localized South winds, moon tides help as well. February/march of '12 I surfed fun waist to chest clean waves on a little river mouth sand bar 2x in 2weeks. Snapped the nose off my 6'1. surfed eastern CT a bunch in the past few years, but you have to have it pretty dailed.
With all that said, there won't be any surf in CT this week.

I wish Bro. Stuck at work. However the swell here in SE NC was not as good as we thought it would be so I'm kind of glad I saved a vacation day for a future (fingers crossed) bigger and better event.
