That's some crazy stuff bro.Never know what's lurking especially submarine.Imagine 38 feet.pretty nuts.
Coooool! I almost forgot. Oh, here is a belated happy birthday to Yankee...A man so interesting....the sharks have named a week after him!
I thought it was cool till I realized it was total bull. Freaking mermaids/megalodon all over again. C'mon discovery, just show me real shark footage...cool enough.
turned it on for a moment, saw the cheese during submarine or whatever. Pretty weak. Was it better like 15 years ago or is it just me?

With "Shark Week" on TV, the Sharknado/Jaws kick-off last week, and all the related articles in newspapers and online, I've been getting bombarded by family and friends these past few days with: "Did you see the show the other night on sharks?"..."Aren't you afraid of sharks?"..."Did you read in the paper about all the sharks right off VA Beach?"...etc, etc. Actually, I'm more concerned about glass in the parking lot, or stepping on a ray or a horseshoe crab tail. Maybe if I was down in Florida, I might think differently. But if you love the water, you don't generally worry about such things; but you do try to be smart about it. Lightning, as others have previously mentioned, is altogether different. I don't tempt fate, whether out running or out on the water. BTW, my brother was on the west coast last week with his family. Spent some time on the South Bay (LA area) beaches. The Manhattan Beach Pier is still closed to fishing since the shark attack on that swimmer last month.
I can't wait. http://press.cc.com/press-release/2014/07/15/press-comedy-central-unleashes-shart-week-2014
Late night talk shows.... dramatic "recreations"... and a gay/annoying host. I feel like I am watching E! with my girlfriend
A shark friend from El Porto says: "Human slave is so disgusted by the money-hungry, fake "Shark Week". Me proud to have this huamn since they make no money off me, but spend so much to promote factual understanding & coexistence with sharks (even gave away 3 shirts yesterday). To protest the monetization of my kind, human slave wants to give away 5 more El Porto Shark shirts to you! All you have to do is guess what size human slave's favorite board's size is. Hint: it's between 5'8" and 7'2". First 5 correct answers with addresses in the contiguous U.S. get a free shirt. One guess per person please. Comment on this post with your answer and good luck!"
Same here, i'm more worried about stepping on little jagged things that can slice my feet up or something. As far as being down here in FL, you'd get use to it, eventually you just say F it. I saw a 3-4 footer yesterday, considered getting out but just stood my ground as we do here in FL and he minded his own business and kept eating all the fish flopping out of the water. He was only 50 yards from me having a ball. Then a tarpon got in on the action and it was a full on feeding frenzy. Just try and stay outside of that pod and you're good to go! Usually...
Shark week has changed so much. It's actually really disappointing. I can't remember the last time I watched and thought to myself, 'wow that was quality shark tv.'
All those channels in general have gone right down the sh!tter...used to be How the Earth was Made, cool space shows, informative ecological stuff, now it's swamp logging, scary predators, and living megladons. Used to be this really cool show called 'Sunrise Earth'. All it was was a half-hour clip of dusk/sunrise at whatever featured habitat of the day. In my teaching days when I d call out I'd immediately turn that on and blaze up.
That's a cool show, and I don't recall the channel that showed it. When I first got an high-def tv I always tuned into it. They had one episode where they showed a spot in CR which may have been Playa Grande early in the morning. Had a couple of guys on DP catching 3 ft closeouts
