Jersey was firing non-stop all day. I'll take short period swell over hurricane swell anytime. Well overhead sets with perfect conditions. One of the best days in a long time.

Tubular dude. I just might move to nj

Lee, I had a nagging suspicion you were not one of the offenders. Bad etiquette and bad manners drive me crazy.

The Sheba should be introduced to the lineup. If you don't know what I mean, ask your local Yugoslav

Wetsuits? Yeah, saw boots n gloves too.

Surfing is hardcore fun. For real. What else is so fun? Don't bring up sex

Today's new term...**** wrench. Ex, that chick is a good **** wrench. All the bros are down to hit

Yeah, I am quoting myself. I don't give a fooook. It was just like I thought. Yesterday's swell thinned-out the ding-dongs, for sure. Solid solid head high plus where I was, and pumping. I saw a lot of nice beat downs at dead low tide around 3-4-ish, and a lot of closeouts. The occasional barrel was out there too, but not that great at low tide. I gave it a go, but it was shutting down too hard where I was. Got out after an hour, checked some email, drank a beer, then went out for session number two. Man o man was it fun from 5-630 in Spring Lake. Head high and lining-up way better. Super fast waves...Almost felt like a Winter swell.
Woke up early this AM, packed up the hoopty, and went out for an hour and a half of surfing leftovers. Still fun, but a crap crowd. Took out the lunch tray and got several all-time tray-von-tastic rides. That is all. Suq it.

agree, totally a fall/winter swell. even this morning felt like it... i pulled out of all responsibilities yesterday surfed for 7 hours. Got some of the best barrels Ive had in a long time and saw many other people doing the same. Crowd was mellow but the paddle out, OH+ sets and current like haleiwa kept people in check. awesome day of surfing, so far Ill say this is the best august in years
