Valhalla is where, according to Norse mythology, the great vikings go when slain in battle. Both of my parents immigrated to the US from Sweden in the '50s. My father passed away in 2001 and as I was taking care of some of his affairs I discovered that he used Valhalla as a password for many of his accounts and things. I thought that was kinda cool. A few years later, the first internet forum I joined was about the band Led Zeppelin. Besides sex and hobbits, Zep also sang about vikings and their raping, pillaging and plundering ways. I chose Valhalla as my screen name there and have used it (or some variation) ever since. So my user name is a reference to my Swedish heritage and the greatest hard rock band ever.

 

There ya go wayne. Who wouda thunk it, talk about real things and real people and you get real responses and true compassion.
