Yeah man can't wait! I haven't seen it yet but maybe I can get a pic from him, idk though cause he's been super busy. Either way I'll get some pics up soon. Glad I decided against the resin swirl, just didn't feel 100% stoke about it so went classic instead.
Thanks guys, it's a 9' x 22.9" x 3.05" Single Fin Performance LB / Noserider, a bit of rocker (approx. 4.5) for the bigger days, had a chance to get her wet this weekend but couldn't find the fin I was looking for at 5 different shops, I swear there are no good shops left. I ended up going online to True Ames and picking up this one, should be here in a few days. I didn't want to ride it unless it was proper, so next week I should have a ride report hopefully.
I need a new leash now too, anybody use the calf leash on a LB? I never have worn anything other than the ankle leash, don't know if I want to change that but I hear the calf leash gets tangled or caught up in your feet less when walking the board? I walk pretty decent on my 8'1" mini LB with it on the ankle so is it (calf leash) necessary?
I tried calf leash last winter. It was roughing up the neoprene of my wetsuit. Went back to ankle even though I liked how the calf leash functioned.
I have a calf leash - buddy gave it to me after I broke 1, can't say I care for them - but not a big deal either way. But great choice on the fin, the 4A is an excellent fin - should be a perfect fit for that board
Maiden voyage was a great success! Love this board, so easy to catch waves and very nimble with a little juice behind it. Underforecasted this morning , got some long waist glassy lines early, occasional larger set wave, I prayed for remnants of Cristobal and was rewarded, thank you wave gods! Tomorrow should be fun too!
Love this fin, works great with this board, it's sharp as he'll though, just a tap on my knee and it bout broke the skin, left a bruise, and I mean I barely touched it haha, hope I never take one on the head, yikes that could be bad!
I sat on that f**ker 2 years ago in a closeout barrel. Right in the keister. I was scared to poop for days. Somehow there was no cut, which I attribute to the soft man flesh commonly found in said areas. Took about a week to fully recover. Physically, not mentally.
