What are you're thoughts on front vs back zip wetsuits?
I am about to bite the bullet and buy a new 3/2 dawn patrol gb suit but I can't figure out if the extra 50 bucks is worth it for the front zip.
    All advice is welcomed.

I like the front but it seems a little harder to get out of.

What suit do you have? I have a Hurley 302 chest zip, easy to get out of, real toasty, and really water tight. I also have an oneill mutant which is pretty easy to get out of. I prefer chest zip for sure. The only reason I would like a back zip is if I just want a thin summer suit.

I think it's worth it. All the RC e4 stuff is pretty great. I think the gb's have the flash lining on the chest as well. Added bonus for a relatively inexpensive suit.

Chest zip on 4/3s and up. 3/2s I don't think it matters much as long as the seams are taped.

There is nothing worse than duck diving a big set, and getting hit with the lip on the back of the neck, and BOOM goes the dynamite and the zipper on your BACK pops loose, and your suit fills up with water and you are like a giant puffer fish floating and bobbing in the impact zone. Pray to (fill in the blank) you still have a grip on your board.

depends on how often you surf. If you surf a couple times a week, you should be acclimated to the water temp enough that it won't matter if you get a little flush now and then...save money with a back zip. If you only surf a couple times a month, then flushes are going to be very unpleasant...chest zip
