From Surfline: Hey, this is Mike with the report for Thursday afternoon. CFL PM REPORT/SHORT TERM FORECAST: Continued swell this afternoon for the region. The size has come down some since the morning hours but still plenty of solid surf with head high sets and a few sets still pushing a little overhead at the best spots. The seabreeze has become established around 5-10kts+ from the E. This is adding some texture/bump to lite chop to the surf but overall conditions are not too bad. Still looks worth getting wet but conditions are not as good as earlier. We will see a slow fade to the swell through the rest of the day with the onshore seabreeze continuing. Some ding dong who remains stuck in the 1980's (get over it already kook!) had apparently placed a bag over the Cocoa Beach Pier cam earlier today. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
Killer morning on the Treasure Coast too. Lefts were running a lot on the inside. Rights where picky and fun. Saw that same bump on the face you were talking about on a couple lefts on Wednesday morning in Stuart. Chummy too.
electronic info often unreliable. today i got up - best swell of the year @6ft - and the buoy reading was 3ft - i have no idea why...
