Recommend easiest car rental at San Juan airport??

There are a couple in the building across from the baggage claim area (budget?) - you actually end up hauling your crap further than if you waited for the shuttle. Go to priceline or one of the travel sites, I believe that they indicate 'at airport'.

My question isnt related to San Juan, but just rental cars in general. Im heading down to PR in January with the wife. Never been before. Somebody told me that I should rent a 4wd. is this true? Im staying in rincon.

I go to PR every year--I always use Hertz--for that island I found they are the best especially in the event something happens. Not much higher in cost either. just opinion.

 

Airport has been redone, bagus--they are onsite now. 3 minute walk from gate, across the street.
