if you cross-reference the forecast with NWS and wunderground you would see the wind isn't due to switch until the evening. can't always rely on the summary.
the front is draped right over the mid atlantic today, so winds are a little tricky. For central nj, we might not see that distinct offshore shift till early evening. Take a look at the Swellinfo nearshore wind maps, which are updated 4 times per day. We are going doing an upgrade to the wind data by this summer, which will use NWS hourly wind forecast data.
relax, man. you're lucky you knew about this swell days in advance. you want them to tell you the exact second it goes offshore?
dela-where was producing clean chest to head sets this morning and just kept getting bigger by the minute, but then the wind got on it, so jersey should start seen offshore by sunset.
sorry if it sounded like i was complaining, just puzzled. i think complaining would be this face instead of . it looked kinda weak, hopefully it gets good overnight and isnt blown out tomorrow
That would be great. Planned my day today around 5 green bars in the afternoon. It was a bit disappointing.
i think it will be fun tomorrow. 3-4' range with best spots seeing bigger sets with the optimal tides. Keep in mind low tide is around 11am tomorrow.
checked it twice, lookin pretty weak. i dont know if the incoming is going to do too much today, wind is howlin. night vision swimming goggles would have been the sh~t!
Couple Duke reports from today say chest to shoulder and clean... GODDAMN WORK and new addition to my leg tattoo... FTL!!!!!! Go get some everyone.
