Hi I'm Ben reporting from Mystic, CT... Well swellers, Eddie didn't light up my spot like Cristos, but there was fun to be had. Bigger than I thought it would be in the morning, idk 4+ on da sets, but throwing f'n hard. And I think you guys spoke this into existence, they were breaking fast, and there were some close out sections. But I gots many a vertical drop and many a barrel. And shot the schitt with this salty OG who's been at it since '65. The inside nuggets were choice...what'd Billy say in Young Guns...There's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip... One of the one's snapping shut, peep the white water detonation towards the left side of the pic.. Pics taken with my new Samsung Galactic 5s
Nice! You can tell in the last pic that's it dumping super heavy just like my morning after the second cup of joe!
Dude it really was friggin juicy...the refraction waves were insane on some of the sets. Really an amazing thing.
Rad! I didn't even waste my time down here praying to swell gods the forecast for sunday and monday hold up!
Damn seldom, I'm gonna come down to your spot to get that hollow feeling next swell. The hair's getting long now and perfect length to flick away with a twitch after a lil head dunk or better. I need to satisfy the urges in that silent place bro. No draining pits to be seen here.
Do it, it'll be fun. There were like 2 other guys out to boot. I might have some barrel shots to post from the water, my buddy took out his go pro, just waiting for the upload.
SS just add: Please excuse any spelling errors this was sent from iPhone into your signature. It's the professional thing to do these days!
Thanks bro. Another thing from yesterday is that tides weren't at a high height or as much of a difference between high and low yesterday. We were surfing in some shallow stuff at higher tide. That didn't help.
From the Inlet last couple days http://www.gulfster.com/Daily/2014PictureGallery/091814NSB/index.html
Didn't surf the pier, but the poles were about the same http://voidlive.com/surf-report/jax-pier-surf-report-thurs-edouard/
