guess i went to the wrong spot; i found it to be a bit disappointing. the size was there, but the side-offshore wind & high tide wasn't doing it any favors. hopefully w/ the lower tide...

Ditto, going to try and head out after work today for a quick sunset session. Surfed last weds and thurs and got out yesterday morning for a bit too. I know I'm going mad when the first thing I do when I get home after a session is check the forecast and figure out when I can get out next lol

Mad? No, thats a good thing. You're just stoked. I was doing the same thin yesterday on my way home from the beach. Have a tentative half day in the works for today too.

It was a bit dumpy where I was yesterday, but there were some nice ones mixed in. Some shoulder high sets yesterday as well, and today is supposedto be bigger so...yeehaa.

Its only 10 seconds, but reports ive gotten from friends at different spots have varied greatly in size. Waist being the smallest, and 2 foot overhead bomb sets being the biggest.

So....If your spot looks crummy, might be worth looking around :)

I had some fun in Manasquan and Belmar yesterday. Will be hitting up one of the two later this afternoon after I can get out of work. Really pumped!

there should continue to be swell, the buoy has not backed off and the average period keeps creeping up. going into low tide it is promising

I know the feeling. You will now find out the limits of the board and you might be surprised. Got out a little while ago, real fun. Definitely steep drops and barrels where I was at which suited a hpsb. It was fun to get a good barrel again. It's been a while.

I got a couple nice barrels today. The wave did all the work. A great day.
