This is a very good article, it so ironic that surfers come accross stereotypically as green, organic, almost hippy like people, when on the other hand our surfboard and wax and who knows what else comes straight from oil. I think we as surfers need to take a stand against our horrible addiction to oil. As i read in a board magazine not too recently, in this case its hoes before bros, and that hoe is mother earth.
