Have fun in VB bouys, looks like solid and clean shoulder sets were coming through on the surfline cams. I'm stuck in meetings at the office all day and watching the baby tonight, so no swell for me today

Yup, that's about right on the size. Was fun all morning. I'll take n'easter born waves like this a.m. over block long closeout hurricane swells that last 6 hrs. any day. Love seeing those nuggets wrap around the sandbars and line up to the beach.

Scored here in nags head. Head to overhead this morning pretty clean til the good ole unexpected wind popped up. Just glad I woke up to get on it. Cheers to good waves.

We got out this afternoon. After a week of thunderstorms and flooding two hours of warm sun, thigh to mostly waist high, choppy, yummy warm ocean :) looked to be plenty of teenage boys skipping school. Super fun to get to sneak in a mid week sesh :) and thanks to the wonderful surfer dude who pulled the boulder out from under my car after I carelessly ran over it. :) surfers are a nice bunch of people.

I went to 80th and it was poop. I was going to go out until I saw a knee high guy catch an outside wave. almost waisted high and he had to do a lot of hopping up and down. I decided to make some money.

I surfed 1st Street at day break til 8:30am. It was fun, but not great. Was better on Sunday even though it was slightly smaller.

the surf gods smiled on me today (which made up for completely missing last Sunday's swell), and I had a client cancel on me this afternoon, and my morning meetings went much quicker than I had blocked off. Dipped out of the office at lunch time in a hurry and was able to surf for about two hours this afternoon. Snapped a couple of pics IMG_1109[1].jpg IMG_1113[1].jpg

What time were you looking at it? the north end is funny...i've caught it a couple feet bigger there than further towards the strip, and then the next day saw it literally two or three feet bigger in croatnam.

Couldn't get out today until after work - around 4:30 for an hour off Dam Neck. It's been a nice start to the Fall season.

Was one of the first in the water at 1st street this morning for the morning sesh, then one of the last out of the water this evening at 1st for my after-work sesh ... Both were pretty good, but this morning definitely had some size to it.
