    Closeout - a fabled term referring to a barreling wave that travels faster than the surfer riding it. See "Slow Surfer" on a "Fast Wave"

    'Sardines'

    Def: little fish that jump out of the water on the lineup. Usually there are bigger fish underneath chasing them.

    Example used in a sentence: 'when I paddled out to the lineup in AI, I just saw panicked sardines a foot in front of me... For fear of a shark underneath (sharks can smell fear) <i turned board to shore>...<gently paddling> While humming "doobey doobey doo" to fend off the sardines, with my feet bent nearly back to my head

    BBP needs to seigneur this one. It's so good of a term that we could apply it to a lot. He should determine the meaning since he coined it.
