no the votes for defensive player of the year go in before the end of the season. Also the people who vote are writers like Bob Costas. If the player and coaches were the ones who voted i guaruntee ed reed would have been the top guy. Oh by the way did you watch the Wilcard game between miami and bmore? cuz im pretty sure ed reed showed everyone the he is better then troy polamalu and james harrison.

2002 - James Harrison was an undrafted free agent and failed to make the Ravens and Steelers Roster numerous times. Now he is the Steelers all-time sack leader for a single season.

2002 - Ed Reed was the no.1 pick by the Ravens. He is nasty.

    .....Harrison deserves it

as close as the two previous games were with the steelers, i feel the ravens should come out on top this time because they have gotten so much better throughout the season.

that being said, if they do win i can consider my life over, because my 21st birthday is on superbowl sunday

Eagles got shafted on that take-down on Curtis. No pass interference why? The guy hit him in the back of the knee and took him down... thats legit right?

Dude are you retarded? Maybe if Joe Flacco didn't suck such a **** and throw three interceptions (13-30, 140yds, 18.2 passer rating i think hahaha), and maybe if Willis McGahee didn't get knocked the **** out then maaaaaybe they would have had a chance.

Don't be ignorant and base the game on one **** call. While we are on the subject of penalties....lets not forget....the only reason Baltimore got 2 TD's is b/c Pitt had two interference penalties in the end zone which put them on the 1 yard line both times.

Anytime you wanna talk football feel free to message me......

    ZING!

Yea he's right though, Ravens fans will try to defend on poor reasons. . .It was a good game, but they didn't play that well = Loss.

rgnsup I think we're still talking about football here, right? and this is The Official NFL Thread, soooo.........?

I don't even think the Steelers scored on that drive anyway, which is fine by me. Besides there were BS calls on both sides.
