Wanted to know how many of you actually use a exercise ball? I came across this video and decided to give it a try. I have been doing this for the last 2 weeks. It's a little tricky at first. But, can be mastered fairly quickly. Be careful not to break your board!!!! WARNING: I take no responsibility if anyone gets hurt. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9GYeYrfP7o
That is probably hard at first. Looks like a better way to gain balance and strength than the basic indo-boards. PS. Anyone else notice his crazy computer monitor setup in the background!!!
Interesting...may have just found a use for my old 6'6" thruster with the 2 broken fins (pre FCS)... If you don't see a follow up post from me within the next 10 mins or so, I'll most likely be on my garage floor with a broken neck...please send an ambulance.
Sick vid...... would it work with a basketball probably not...... I'll def snap my board hummm maybe with a sponge!
I use my old 6"2' Sharp Eye. Delam'd..... cracked nose already...and tail cancer so...I said what the hell it's a POS already. I could care less if i destroyed it any further. FYI - It is a little easier if you leave the fins in.
I bet. They would make a good stopping point, so the board doesn't shoot out from under you. Probably helps with the side to side motion some too.
this looks awesome, remember too that you can control the difficultly level by adjusting how much you inflate the exersize ball.
I occassionly mix in an indo board and balance ball with my exercise routine. I think it helps with surfing and the variety always helps to keep the boredom away...since we would all rather be surfing or sitting on rear ends watching tv.
i was just about to ask about the indo board on another threasd but i have one of those balance boards you can get at any sports store and that is good enough for me. It seems like the indo board is just a basketball with plywood on top
Looks like a decent way to work on balance, but once you get it dowm, it gets boring reeeaaal fast. Best way to practice.............SURF.
