Found a size 8 5/4/3 with hood West brand... Its just a little to big but local shop has it for $100. Searched around apparently grom size fullsuits with hoods are hard to come by and expensive if you can find out. Im thinking best bet is to buy the size 8.. Have him put on 2 mm fullsuit then winter suit on top... Then hope he grows into it next year! Prob should not have a 6 yr out in winter anyhow but there are lots of warm day thru december and early spring we would like to take advantage of. Searched ebay... Not so much... Any ideas?
I remember seeing a Ripcurl ebomb 5/4 last season at Eastern Lines that fit a grom bout 4'9'' to 5'1''. How tall is he? You might have to special order.
45 inches... 45 pounds soaking wet ha ha Yeah the one i saw was at inlet outlet... I can special order for $260 but thats a lot of dough.... I saw a bunch of 5/3 mm with no hood... That wont work either and i just dont trust detachable hoods
Kids ok...loves it... 5 now turning 6 in a week.... Keeps asking how we gonna surf winter...tuff to tell em he cant
Reach out to the companies directly. You'd be surprised how EASY it is to get in touch with inside sales. They usually hook it up too
For 100 bucks I would just get it for next year... That's cheap. Are all the seems sealed? You could always try two suits but he probably couldn't move lol
that is so freaking cool. Making the little dude wait another year or so may give him some extra hunger until he's big enough. It'll be tough but it might pay a lifelong dividend. Otherwise, find the smallest suit you can afford and cut down the arms and legs. Unfortunately, gloves and booties might present a bigger problem.
Yeeeeeeww!! Ya grom!!! So stoked for him!! Don't forget to remind him to keep at it, never give up, and just keep the stoke alive!! Nice pics!
Boogit, you should start your own 'everything a grom needs to shred' brand, which could have light, flexible, and warm rubber in small sizes, haha that would be sick. I want to have a little grommet of my own someday soon.
I bought my 9 yr old (8 at the time) a suite and boots last Xmas. I can't seem to find gloves to fit her anywhere. Even at dive shops. I don't get why they would make westuites and booties for kids and not make gloves. Like kids hands are magically cold resistant. If you (or anyone else) know where to get kids gloves please let me know.
Done... Went back to inout and turns out they had a size 6 too... Somehow wasnt out when i was there a few days ago... $100 done ... He wanted to wear it out the store but he was sweating....took it to the ishpipe for test run and sinus infections...he was super stoked and actually moved pretty well in it and tended to float back to the surface faster which is nice for dad.... Def good thru december then we will see GLOVES... Inlet had xxs gloves which fit him great but was $55... Same as mens price... I might go back and buy em but i bet i could do better than that...prob would fit your 9 yr old well ... Thanks for supports fellas... If u see a dude out with a few 5 year olds this winter its prob me... Come say hi...Hook to woodj with a lotta squan/ishpipe in between
Apparently kenny still owns IO but no more Stevie as manager....Weak but u can still go talk off adams ear at barewires if u need... Stevie used to throw a nice local discount on top... Now i gotta meet the groms i guess... Corey seems pretty cool... Anyhow...these shops make more on Ugg than core stuff but every now and then u get lucky
