What bout you guys? I got out today on my baked potato AKA best board ever for 1 - 4 foot mushy surf. Def fun if you were patient. Anyone else make the most of their day today?
was a little choppy and mushy but I went out for a couple hours. There were a couple rights that stood out and were really fun. The water's warm and the sun's been shining in southern N.C. so I can't complain.
In OCMD...small...knee to thigh...used the groveler in am and decided to use the shortboard in afternoon...had some push...7 hours in the water, 3 in am and 4 in pm...it was surprisingly fun considering how small...then Came home and found my new groveler from FedEx. Stoked...May head out tomorrow after work if there is anything surf able.
Yesterday was the first day we had anything rideable for weeks here. Always fun to get out and see if you still remember how to surf. Knee - thigh high mostly, but every 15 - 20 minutes maybe some waist high. It was a week day, summer crowds gone, had it all to myself. No witnesses to my rusty-ness.
