DUDE! That's more then enough- you could score one on craigslist already set up for 1000 easy!

THink about it- you could totally go off roading anytime you want! plus its faster and just looks better... a little more manly.

but seriously if you got the style to rock a moped, go for it... maybe try one first. they go like 40mph top speed.

Had my "shredped" for over a year. The thing would never electric start when I needed it to (like when the chicks were around" Believe it or not, I actually picked up girls with it at 16 saying "I cant afford gas in my truck so I have to use this" Its fun at first but when winter hits, you'll regret it.

If had many dual sport bikes, all picked up used off craigslist in your price range. My advice is to only go that route if you are handy and have some tools. Dual sport bikes are in vogue right now, so great deals are hard to find, and people beat the snot out of them. Often it's only minor stuff needed to get them going well again, but minor can be major if your unfamiliar with bikes.

However, the used motorcycle market in General is packed with great deals right now. Smaller generic street models from the big 4 jap brands are easy to find deals on, and often they been hardly used.
