Yes, Slo Mo guy is creepy the first time skates by you, getting awkwardly close, but he is a legend out there. Glad to see he is still doing his thing.
When I get down, here are a few things that cheer me up. 1. Listen to punk rock 2. Go to a punk rock show and get in the pit 3. Volunteer or donate time 4. Meditate 5. Surf (if no waves, check forecast, go on forum, be a douche ) I hope you get your mojo back soon bra!
F@cking. F@cking always makes everything better. If you can find a steady f@ck that won't put the chains on you, then you are good.
that's exactly why he shouldn't get kicked off, thanks for making the argument for him...it's real honest, clever, well punctuated and articulated writing. it's the only reason i signed on to this gdarn site after anonymously reading for so long. whether you "like" it or not, it is interesting, and most of all, honest and soulful, which makes it so intriguing. and if anyone thinks it's offensive, gimme a break. what pjb, gobjb, gobjbii deals with is on the sub-culture of a sect on an individual perspective...it's friggin disney land compared to some of the prejudiced and borderline racist stuff i read on here. gopjbii, you keep it real. you have an audience of at least 1
Dude, I almost never post on here... Long time lurker, seldom poster who needed to go to my school's damn back to school night instead of calling out and surfing that ****ty groundswell that happened about a month back... Anyway... There is nothing wrong with Yoga, fair trade and organic products (especially coffee), oh and don't forget listening to Jack Johnson and Jimmy Buffett while getting tanked and ripped... Anyway... You're one of the highlights of this forum, don't let them authoritarian types get you down... Keep on keepin on man... Getting softer isn't always terrible, either, I try not to snap anymore, but still do occasionally, right JettyFace? Remember that Bonfire? Yeah man... Anyway, you just gotta remember, most muslims are actually pretty cool... It's the republicans that are fu@k!n a$$holes. And drugs are cool as long as you aren't driving too far after you take them and you stay away from the real hard ****. Always remember that.
Dude, I'll throw my burning log at you if you ever speak like that about Jimmy Buffett again... He chills with models 1/3 his age, smokes weed, drinks mad liquor, chills on exotic beaches, makes millions off of alcoholics and concert goers and surfs long boards (lol)! If I'm doing half of that **** when I'm his age, call me a kook all you want mother****er!

Mine are similar:. 1. Listen to early 70s rock or even classical music. 2. Volunteer work or helping others. 3. Meditation or prayer. If church helps, go to church. 4. Set some short, intermediate, and long term goals to work towards. 5. Exercise and eat right. Take care of your health 6. Get in or on the water: surf, paddle, sail, fish. 7. Be grateful you don't live in some Third World hell hole.
I think he just needs a dog. Like a big goofy golden retriever. You can't be depressed when you have a dog bugging you to do dog stuff...just saying... However, if you want to continue to stew in your own misery then become a writer. The best writers are always miserable. Your writing is really good and I think you probably have enough stories to put together something. I bet you could sell a hundred copies just to SI members. Outside of that, good luck! There's always kickstarter too...
+1 On getting a dog, and he loves dogs, not sure if he owns one already or not though. He may already be a writer for all we know. Never know who you are REALLY talking to on here.
right. I am a 66 year old Mongolian tranny (post op) living in gearhart Oregon collecting pics from this website and others. but dont tell anyone
Time to derail this with surf talk... 2 possible storms headed this way. There is no science to this outside of what I am blurting out here. You heard here first. KillaKiel, the freelance meteorologist for the rest of us. Miami is going to get swell. I have not checked any forecasts. I am the forecast. I called fun waves in VB yesterday and this morning. I was told that I am full of nonsense. OK...that's why I had a really fun, steep rides...but the almighty SURFLINE did not call it. Surfing season is ending in the eyes of many. In other words, there will be fewer people to get buck with now that it is cooling off. With that in mind, things are getting calmer SJB...there will be fewer pricks in the lineup. I know, I know, you are so friendly (as too am I) in the lineup. The problem is the quality of people these days. I would rather have an angry face puncher than the "I can do whatever I want and you have no recourse because I can call the law" types. I referred to some dude as "shnookums" at the break the other day. He wanted to take it to the next level judging by his remarks. I thought surfing was fun. Kid couldn't surf...guess I'd be mad too. If you're reading this, you are literate and have a lot of patience. Patience sounds like a good stipper name...just sayin
I actually laughed out loud at that one...good one MIS. GOPJBII: Start a punk rock band. Don't even have to know how to play, just get a guy who can play kick kick snare over and over, a guy who knows three barre chords, and someone who owns a bass and play everything as fast and loud as you can. Then you can throw your own brand of lyrics on top any way you want. Scream it, bark it, say it, whatever. Then book a tour and set up gigs at all the places you want to surf and off you go. There's gotta be a CPA on here somewhere who can show you how to write it all off on your taxes so you won't pay for nuttin'. And drugs too, people will give them to you just to hang out with you. Money for nothing and your chicks (and drugs) for free.
