Try soaking them in some enzymatic cleaner like Bac-out. You need something to eat the bacteria that are causing the smell.

Get some of that wetsuit cleaner / conditioner. Most surf shops sell it for like 10 bucks

There's a product called Sink the Stink that works well. I don't know the active ingredient, but it's an enzyme that's also found in other products. Dive shops sell it, too.

Dis is the original wetsuite tread. Looks like there were 4 wetsuite treads in 2010 before Swellers realized the profound proper spelling of the term four years later.

Sleep in your wetsuite, but make sure you do it two consecutive nights.

These are healthy bacteria's kind of like probiotic's but for your skin. Disregard and keep surfing...

My 4/3 flashbomb tends to smell the worst. I dunno if it's the material they use on that design that tends to smell the worst after a long pee filled session. My boots, aka pish buckets, get pretty gross too.

I live in a rural area so my technique for cleaning suits has minimal risk of theft. First soak suit in a plastic bin overnight in the back yard. Next hang suit inside out on a hanger on the back porch. Let it rain sleet snow whatever on it. That night take it inside and hang it up in your garage. I keep mine near the pellet stove so it gets all warm. If you need to surf in the interim, wear it wet or buy another one.

When we travel its a similar process. We rinse them in the shower if the hotel and hang the. Up to dry.

The most important part: get your wife or girlfriend to do all of this for you under the laundry clause. Technically it's within the realm of washing things you wear so you shouldn't have to touch it. Be fair-- at least offer to carry the heavy wet bin of wetsuits out of the car.

Soak it in Borax? Works great on other things, might do the trick.

i've stopped peeing in my wetsuites. back in the day it was ok because they'd flush with new water pretty frequently. But now with these dryloc versions? hell no. I can't deal with the smell of piss in my suite. I just make sure not to drink much pre-sesh. I'm sure that adds to cramping, but whatever. I don't smell like piss on the way home.

They make steering wheel cleaner? That's a definitely a niche market.

Yup. And rear view mirror cleaner. It does not work on any other mirrors, just rear views.
