zach you should make an anonymous poll to see how many people voted. Maybe call it, "I voted today"...

I don't like to throw my support behind who I think is the lesser scoundrel based off of biased media coverage.

Even the good guys get silenced by the system.

It is my right to vote as well as my right not to, I choose not to.

To everyone voting today good luck I have seen how much not getting "your guy" in tears people apart.

Already accusations of voting irregularities. fuggin machines putting votes where they're not meant to go. I saw Diebold on one report, but that could be stock footage from the 04 "election".

In New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, Heading to the Polls After a Dejecting Campaign Season

That headline that just ran on the NY Times website about sums it up. A choice quote from the article:

Virginia is reporting a serious amount of voting machines selecting dem candidates automatically.

"Trust us, we're from the government".

Another state they wouldn't let a high polling third party candidate (sarvis-libertarian) debate.

The system is rigged. Left or right, we all lose.

Depends on where you live I guess. I felt like every REP candidate's name was displaying in a slightly larger font. Ohh well.

The house majority will swing the other way today without a doubt. Should be an interesting two more years.

Knocked out of calibration???? Who's a bigger idiot? Him or the people that believe him. Ever had your IPad lose its "calibration". Next time I butt dial someone I'm going to blame it on a mis-calibration.

Can't they just reprogram something similar to a McDonalds cash register. I have never, ever seen one ghost order a McRib when i ordered a 1/4 Pounder. Stupid McFools.

There's a few cell cam videos rolling around showing blatant changes from gop to dem. Scary. I bet Sarvis isn't even being counted.

Right On! Voting is meaningless. Doesn't matter who gets in. It won't change anything. But if it makes you feel better, go for it. Just my opinion.

it used to mean more. but now it suits system-gamers. there is no leadership; remember how our leaders
all spoke up lucidly when the ebola panic was peaking?

    oh right; they didn't.
    not a goddam word.

we have a goon in my town who is on the school board who somehow got himself the
job of surfing coach at the local high school. only he can't surf and does not surf so the kids will have
to go elsewhere if they want to learn how to use a leash.

he prays at a church that turns its back on the citizenry.
    he is a typical "leader."

Now that the election is over, you can bet Ebola won't be mentioned. Now the Repugs are going to have to come up with a new work ethic. The "Just Say No To the Black Guy" days are gone. Time to give more to the rich and privatize all public services.

Ours was one the 25 VB precincts with problem voting machines. Not all the machines at these precincts were affected. At ours, it was just one. That's what my wife said. I voted in the AM, she voted in the PM.
It was an issue with it requiring 2 to 3 attempts on some of the touch screens for your votes to take before going on to the next screen. At the end there was a summary screen which also required several attempts for your entire ballot to be cast. That's what I experienced.

I'm generally a Libertarian and unfortunately this was one of those elections where the libertarian swung the race to the dems. But, fug em all. I'll still vote lib. until they listen to our position. Wish Sarvis made it to 10% so they could have a seat at the table for the next election.

Yes, and to me, this is why you have to pick your poison. I will make decisions accordingly, but I generally see voting that way as a throw away vote, and while I am libertarian by definition, I am unhappy with how it has moved so far left recently.

I mean, I respect voters who simply vote for who they really believe in, but in the big league votes, you might as well try and STOP the Dem or Rep that you really DONT want to see in office.

Thats how I look at it. I am registered the way that I am so that I can take part in all of the elections one way or the other. In some states, you can't even vote outside your party until the big dance, and that is why I don't register in the middle. Half the time, I hate the candidates in my own "party", but at least I have a chance to try and get someone a little less douchy in there.

Which is bullsh1t. If VA were rigging anything, it would be to favor the right. That state still has strong southern ties, which I got to experience first hand living in RVA.
