Hello guys. I need to buy a new tide watch. I was wondering if anybody could give me some suggestions on some models that they have liked. Thanks

I have a Shark Tide. $40 on Whiskey Militia. They have a good selection of watches from time to time... Nyuk, Nyuck... Didn't realize I typed that until after I typed that.

    Shark classic tide watch.
    50$ on amazon

Had it for years- works great! Plus it looks cool - lots of comments on it.

Rip curl makes a nice one if you want to spend your $$

There's other threads about this too- use the search option

    Shark also.

Wristband broke and I was an idiot and didn't send it in before the 1 year warranty....

    Now I want a vestal:

Huh, never really heard much on these, thanks for the info. The only ones I've ever seen was my rich school chap wearing this thing:

Seen them nixons too, been deciding over those or vestals.. I guess it really comes down to the warranty or durability in my opinion.

I prefer the platinum and diamond 100 year anniversary Rolex Oyster Perpetual with saphires and rubys and gold inlays. At just 265,000 you are practically stealing it. I hear Roy has two and had one permanently sewn into his red wetsuit arm cuff.

Nixon's are great. Had mine for 3-4 years now. Still ticking. I did have an issue with it when I first bought it. Walked it into the corporate office in North San Diego. 5 minutes later I had a brand new one, no questions asked. The light went scrambly on it, then the whole watched kicked. But, they replaced it, were super nice about it and the replacement has had zero issues. I would definitely recommend it, especially since they handled my issue with speed and class.

I have one of the cheaper ripcurls and like it. However, one major complaint. The wristband is not long enough to wrap around my wrist with a 5.5mm wetsuite rolled over a mitten without cutting off your circulation. Can't wear in comfortably in winter. I have a small frame too...probably smaller than most female rugby players.

I have had a Nixon supertide and ripcurl trestles. I literally never take my watch off - nixon was the favorite of the two, but they both are excellent IMO. Held up very well to abuse and salt water.

**Atom--I experienced this dilemma as well. not quite that thick of a suite but it made things a bit uncomfortable

Maybe this is the solution! I used to rock one of these all the way through middle school. So dope.
