Anyone know the vid where Wardo drops in backdoor on a left but he's so far out he's on the wrong side of the peak? He bolts around the whitewater and does a super sick cut and stall and just sticks it into the barrel like glue. Sick move and powerful surfing. I've tried but can't find the vid.

 

the young generation today probably doesn't even know who tom curren was.il say it with complete confidence,tom curren is,was,and still is the best surfer that ever lived.Kelly is the man he is today because of tom curren guiding him in his younger years and mentoring him.I bet tom doesn't even have the internet lol,oldskool

jjf heat.just cool to actually see how these people surf,how they paddle,where they sit.u don't see that in regular surfing videos.check out the rips at this beach lol,people were complaining about the drift last sunday could never make it in conditions like this

i do too. literally all of my friends are still mesmerized by his older footage. tom can pull down his trunks mid-wave and take a massive dookie on his board and i'll still be amazed. why? because he's tom curren god dammit!

lol its not a bad thing,everyone that surfs should know who tom curren is.hes just not a name u hear of anymore.people look at john john,medina and Kelly like they are the best,which they pretty much are but don't know who paved the way.thats the evolution of surfing,u grow up watching tom curren surf all the time u turn into Kelly.u grow up watching Kelly surf all the time u grow up to be jjf.the cycle will continue and few will be able to fit its shoes

Here's an amateur clip of NJ that I think is aptly named. it's older, and amateur, but it captures the feel of surfing in North Central NJ pretty well in my opinion
