Know what you mean. Got in 45 min. yesterday after work and was lucky to get even that. My eyesight ain't what it used to be, so when the sun starts going down, I have a very tough time distinguishing the swells.

Not sure why this antiquated tradition persists. IMO, DLST should be made the year-round "Standard Time".

DP sesh is an alternative. I got spoiled using the outside showers before heading to work, but at Dam Neck (VB) they were shut down before the end of Oct. Gone to work "salty" a few times. It's not that bad, but I'll likely start bringing a big jug of warm water to rinse off self and suit.

wake up earlier, we made it up on the front end

or if your secondary obligations don't allow (kids, family, etc) then find time whenever you can...

or, find a place to beyatch about it (somewhere else)

Surf before work, afternoon sessions are as bad as a fat chick with halitosis

Oh my gosh you and your first world problems! My latte is too hot, the portions at the steak house are too big and my diamond wetsuite is too warm. Stick your asspon back in and shut up.

Thanks Carter! There are plenty of us here who can't get a before work or a 45 minute sesh after work. Enjoy what you have!,

Yeah I live 2 hours inland so neither is an option for me. I get that it sucks getting dark earlier but damn the OP needs to go whine to Hey Zeus or Allah.

Three hours and change to the closest break for me. In the winter, I have it easy, as the closest snowboarding is an hour away.
