Firing in NY today. Very similar to the Bertha swell, only with 98% less people.

Today was perfection. Just big enough to give you a rush on the set waves, fun and rippable on the in betweens.

Only chance I got to go out was right after high tide. Thought it was going to be too deep- but it was off the hook! Only 5 guys out at a popular spot and one was a buddy I have not seen in years! Long rides- barrels and lots of laughs and smiles! Thankful for what God has given us!!

The waves where perfection- some of the best (not the biggest) of the year! Mostly due to crowd and stoke factor and it was peeling!

I never made it out, but I'm very jealous of all of you. For any of you in NJ, opinions on the odds of there being anything left at dawn? Anything remotely shortboardable?
