So instead of asking the living retards I deal with here irl, I figured I throw this out to this fine thinktank* of ours, because I know you crackers have the answers I'm looking for, and I really don't feel like going back to the verizon store.

-So I got my new Samsung Galaxy S5...I love the camera and have 531 pictures. I tried to save the pics to my sd card last night to no avail. So, if anyone knows how to do that please advise.

-Also, what's the best bet for cloud storage? I feel compelled to back them up there. Verizon cloud? Dropbox? Open to suggestions.

I'm not dumb, I just don't enjoy tinkering with gadgerts. Help is appreciated, and since I can't reciprocate in dorrars, I'd be happy to share some of them on a random nature/empty wave photo thread.

I found a couple other sites on how to do it, but my company's firewall said, no, I was not allowed to look at it. LOL

I set my phone to auto upload pictures to Google Photo whenever I'm on wifi. They give you 15GB of free storage. Then you can access them from any computer and weed out the ones you don't want or download them to your computer. It's ridiculously easy. I rarely use the SD card anymore.

Ya, you need to be careful of that. Who knows what they'd do if they got a hold of your d1ck pics.

Google+ Photo backup gives you the option of backing up unlimited photos (and videos) at a smaller resolution. As losttsol mentions... it works automatically over wifi or cell connection if you aren't concerned about data usage. It also will "enhance" photos automatically and create animated gifs out of a burst of photos.

Another option is Flickr... they give you 1TB of space, but there isn't an option to automatically upload.

If you look into the settings when you open the camera app, you should see a setting for storage, where you can choose device or SD card for the pictures.

I use the Google+ auto backup thing, too. That's what the pictures app is for.
