Looks like Tuesday afternoon could shape up really nice. I have the afternoon off, need someone to paddle out with. Swell and winds could mean some pretty clean left barrels. Won't paddle out solo.

That 25 knot N wind is gonna kill it. Turn it into slop.

yeah right now this site is saying wnw 19 at 2 p.m. If that holds, it will be pretty amazing especialy with the low tide. Don't count on it, but yeah potential is there.

Weather.com and Windfinder are calling for low 20 NW winds. I think it's manageable I paddled out a few weeks back in that last big swell and it was like 40mph N winds, and it looked like this.

So way less wind offshore, I think It will be manageable and at least worth checking out, but if i don't have someone to paddle out with it's all for nothing. Not worth my life.

I'm tempted to make the journey. But, i just don't think that manana is gonna look like that. windguru has that NNW wind bangin' through at close to 30 knots.

Good luck if you do go.

It is gonna be ripping NN..with some teeeny W in it around 3PM. I'll keep my eye on it but see no need to venture out of town. It may be more fun to face up 35mph offshore on Wed.

Hah, It's always worth Trying. My biggest day this year was on a day like this where there was potential for a window or decent surf and i took it and was pleasantly surprised.

hah too sketch. I enjoy breathing too much to risk fighting 10 ft sets, drift, and winds solo. Not worth the risk.

You better have someone drop you off 2 miles up the beach, because the current's gonna take you down there before you know it you'll be in town :0 I was out in that swell that Lochness is talking about and drifted 1.5 miles in 45 mins..

Dude it was sooo bad! We got lucky and had a Vehicle driving us from the OSV to the entrance to National and would drift back in under 40 minutes. The winds just went NNW down here so thats a good sign. I hope things line up i just want to get wet before my 4/3 isn't warm enough anymore.

fairly light NW winds from time to time this afternoon...maybe 10-15.

Late afternoon conditions...hope you went AND paddled out because it was solid. I watched today, and shot a bunch.

Tried to paddle out on Tuesday! Wish i would of had Wednesday free. Paddle at Assateague Tuesday was absolutely ridiculous, couldn't make it out in my thick suit with bad shoulders, after 30 minutes of battling constant dumping sets I called my attempt futile, tucked my tail between my legs and went home to enjoy warmth and my xbox.
