I am just too cool with my new trendy surfrider foundation licence plate. I think I'll go to Hollister this weekend and buy a new board.

Well, in my eyes there is nothing wrong with Surfrider Foundation plates-trendy or not. We have some seriously lame things going on right now that will directly affect all of us surfers and people who love our coasts and waterways. For instance, you have the rod magnets up in Washington wanting to drill for oil off of Virginia and nearby coasts, as well as !@#$%^& Titan Concrete trying to lay claim on the banks of our very own Cape Fear. Foundations such as Surfrider help to try to protect our coasts and waterways from these very things.

Titan should go back to making their condoms with their Trojan buddies. Sons of mothers, stay out of our face! We don't need cement! Our road system is the pits anyways...

Hey if anyone lives in the Wilmington area, UNCW Surfrider is holding a fundraiser event at Islands Fresh Mex on Racine Dr this monday the 16th from 6-10pm. A percentage of the proceeds will go to our chapter for our snowrider project, beach sweeps and much more. We also have more events coming up too that are great for the surfing community, I can keep you all updated on that. And thanks for everyone who does support Surfrider!

I'm a member of surfrider. If you've got the money it is a good org to support.
