chillin like a villain as usual. and im out of paid days too, but ill take a day without pay if the opportunity for some barrels is there, even if im going to get my arse handed to me. surfed on turkey day while getting over a cold and got caught on the inside with bomb after bomb detonating on my head... wasn't fun but saw the same thing happen to another guy and he just kept trying to paddle out in it. felt bad for him, at least i went in and did the walk around to the normal paddle out spot lol.

ehh it's gettin there. i dont think you can get much colder than last winter, unless youre a fresh water surfer on the great lakes, those dudes are nuts. surfing some waist-chest slop with -20F air temps where the 33F water is steaming... it'll be cold in a couple months when the air is in the teens and the water is in the low 30s, that's what im not looking forward too... im sweating in my 5/4/3 right now and completely happy with that

LOLZ I just looked at multiple MA/NH surph camz and the victory at sea conditions as well as the rain on the lens make it so it's one big mass of whitewash that can barely be seen.

Guess there ain't no paddling out in any form today. Wasn't planning on it. Just hope it can be relatively clean the next two days.

We do. Usually in the summah. We may have to tomorrow. Wind reports there look great and a million miles an hour up here.

Buoy is approaching BelMar levels now. Wind is gale force, however.

Plenty of swell in the Newport area, just a big mess with 20-40 mph sideshore conditions.

tomorrow looks like the day with with the Northeast winds going more North and calming down as the day goes on.

Should still be plenty of Chest to Overhead swell for the more East Facing breaks...

I'm really crossing my fingers for clean Thursday. I envy those that get out tomorrow if it's clean. Damn commitments. It would be out of my league tomorrow if it holds true to forecast at 9ft, but I'd give it a shot. Lucky SOBS. Be safe tomorrow yall. Looks heavy.

Come to think of it, it's basically the Belmar of NY.

Bro I was half-joking. He kept posting it in every tread. Either he was looking for social media likes or he wants more friends fighting for peaks at his break.

Well, Bi-Stater, you're definitely the source of today's fact of the day. Thanks bro. I meant whatever break the author filmed it at, was he trying to populate that break by posting it in mad treads.

Man, you cats are taking everything so literally today! lol

Must be that we are all faced with max buoy readings yet an inability to paddle out.

"Cliffs on both sides. I'm not gonna paddle to New Zealand."

What the hell man. Cams still look like junk even though wind is single digits. All that's to be seen is soup. Can we please get some rideable swell?
