Or is it a gip...? Specifically asking emass cuz I know he does some shopping on there, but will accept other opinions or proof that it is real. http://www.whiskeymilitia.com/
yo they are very legit and have amazingly good customer service. ive been using them and dogfunk.com / backcountry.com since about 2007 and on the few instances i need to return things for size reasons, they instantly email you a ups prepaid label and you're on your way. they rule and i love them. i don't work for them, but i wish i did. i get like 80% of my clothing and all kinds of gear from those sites.
I order mad clothes and all my Trac pads from there when I need one place is legit and customer service is great
Yup. Pro: 1/2 price stuff. Wetsuites in my case. No way I could buy higher end gear otherwise. Con: Have to wait for stuff to be listed, especially your size. Also, seems like last year's models in some cases. For example, the Xcel suite I got was awesome, but not this year's model with the new TDC lining. Still love it, but it ain't the latest model.
What makes you think it's not real? Or do you only have so much allowance money from da-da to spend & you're being Stingy Sally with your rubles? Yah, it's real sparky. Excel wetsuites at very good prices. Trac pads, as well. Bought a Surftech BigCat board as a gift, it arrived in perfect condition & 50% off Rusty's price. As others have noted, the client service at whiskey is superb. I've sent back returns & they turn the refund around a lot faster than most places. dogfunk is good, too. Only reservation I have w whiskey is that most of the stuff on their site is made for the average-sized man; leaving us above-average specimens of manhood not purchasing gear cause the sizes are all for y'all small fry.
Seriously?? Ok I will give you the benefit of a doubt- it's totally for real and they even accept returns. You can even 'buy' something and put it in your cart and have like 10 hrs to think about it before actually paying and committing Check out seshday.com too.
Oh yea like someone one else mentioned- it's usually last years or seasons model... But for half price I would go for it!
I will not rehash what everyone else has already said. They are correct. IBC has their business model dead on. They purchase various manufacturers' overstock/unsold (i.e. last season's) merchandise for a song, and sell it direct to you after slapping on a percentage for profit. Makes me wonder how much profit companies like xcel are making vs their manufacturing costs...
Bro. No. It's not real. At least not for you. For me, yes. It's real. Stay off my peak, grommet. btw, thanks for putting the URL up. No one knew what it was til you did that.
I buy things fairly regularly from WM. They make a decent portion of their discounts back on shipping. Still works out pretty good for most things though.
