I could just keep you in suspense, young HoL, and Badman too.

    Nahhhhhhhhhhhh

Bought the 5'7 AJ cause it was a great deal & in perfect condition. (You guys, being SI regs, are supposed to already know that I'm a board addict.)
    I'm also 6'2, 215 lbs.

AJ is a really good board. It paddles well, has good volume under the chest & is stable, twitchy & responsive. How you do with it will depend on the usual ocean factors, as well as, of course, your ability level.

The AJ is surfed, and surfed well, by people of my acquaintance, who happen to be smaller than me, in our east coast usually-small windswell & they do ok with it.

I've messed around with it & done ok but by no means was it a pretty sight.

Having said that, I don't see it as an east coast go-to board unless you live close by to the ocean, are under 5'9, weigh less than 160 lbs and can surf short boards with confidence. I'd like to try it in strong Pacific groundswell in Cali or CR, but, then again, if dreams were horses then all men would ride.

    My 2 centacos.

I love how people post videos and say this is what the board can do. No, this is what the rider can do

Exactly! LOL I actually just picked up a Lost F1 and as the dude is making his sales pitch, he emails me a video of someone (some pro) surfing the board and tells me, this is what the board can do. I just acted like I was surprised at the magical board. LOL

I actually watched that video and was thinking the video hurt more than helped. Not a video that would inspire me to go buy that board.

I personally thought, the waves looked more fun than the board. LOL
